ToughRock Fireguard X Gypsum Drywall Board is a moisture-resistant substrate for use in new building construction or renovation work that is covered by a cladding such as vinyl or fiber cement siding, masonry veneer, or wire lath stucco. ToughRock Fireguard X Gypsum Drywall Board is UL and ULC classified for use in a variety of fire-rated assemblies.
- Made with a Type-X core for enhanced fire resistance

- Noncombustible (per ASTM E136 or CAN/ULC S114), dimensionally stable gypsum core
- Accepts a variety of decorative treatments including paint, wall coverings, and textured coatings
- Tapered edges provides smooth joints
- Surface on both facings and long edges feature 100% recycled paper
- Face paper is folded around the long edges to reinforce and protect the core, with the ends being square-cut and finished smooth
