Description

These steel shaftwall studs meet or exceed all applicable UL system design and Fire Resistance ratings and are therefore acceptable for use with listed wallboard gypsum products bearing the UL classification marking. These steel studs can be joined with J-track to craft economical yet tough shaftwall systems. They meet or exceed ASTM A370, A1003, C754, C645 (non-structural), C955 (structural) standards.

• Can be combined with J-Runner track for an economical shaft wall system while maintaining their integrity
• Withstands termites and mold, and holds up better against acts of nature when compared to wood framing
• Fabricated by cold-formed shaping of the steel, which increases the strength of the stud
• Maintains a fire rating of up to 2 hours
