STI's 4 in. SpecSeal® Cast-In Firestop Device for Combustible and Non-Combustible Penetrants provides a practical approach to through-penetration firestopping in commercial construction, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical applications. The factory-installed intumescent system expands when exposed to elevated temperatures to help seal penetrations against fire and smoke. The device has been tested to ASTM E814 and UL 1479, with systems available for one-, two-, and three-hour fire-rated floor assemblies. It also provides a Class 1 water-rated system

• Supports concrete pours with a maximum thickness of 8 in.
• Integrated sleeve, intumescent firestop, and smoke-sealing gasket simplify cast-in firestop installation
• Accommodates 4 in. trade-size penetrants in concrete floor and ceiling assemblies
• Bidirectional sleeve permits installation for both floor and ceiling penetrations
