4 in. SpecSeal® Cast-In Firestop Device for Combustible and Non-Combustible Penetrants | STI-CD403

STI's 4 in. Cast-In Firestop Device is engineered for new construction applications where reliable firestop protection and efficient concrete penetration planning are required. The device is tested for combustible and noncombustible penetrants and incorporates a built-in smoke- and water-resistant seal. Its intumescent technology begins expanding at 320°F and provides approximately 250X free expansion to help close the penetration during a fire. CD403 is tested in one-, two-, and three-hour fire-rated floor assemblies in accordance with ASTM E814 and CAN/ULC-S115, making it suitable for properly designed and installed firestop systems. The device is also re-enterable, allowing compatible penetrants to be installed or changed after the concrete pour.
