Because fewer layers are needed, Ultracode Core panels save you both time and money. The ultra code panels, when used in conjunction with mineral wool insulation, can replace two layers of 1/2 In. type AC or 5/8 In. Type X. These panels cut easily, can be applied quickly, and may be decorated as soon as the joint treatment is dry. Panel edges are also less prone to fastener blowouts, minimizing potential joint imperfections.
