Marshalltowns Blue Steel Scarifier has 1/4 in. x 3 in. tines are attached to a non-corrosive aluminum backer plate, which is held together by an plastic, ergonomic handle. These steel tines scratch your plaster undercoat to promote a good bond with the finish coat.
