DEWALT's Stainless Steel Drywall Joint Knife features precision polished stainless steel blade and handle provides corrosion resistance and easy cleanup. A hollow-ground blade provides proper flex midway up the blade (versus near the handle) for optimum blade control, fast application rates and smooth, professional finishes. An extra long tang extends past the hang hole internally for added strength. The blade is robotically welded to the handle at three points of contact: where the blade meets the handle, mid tang and at the end of the tang. A curved surface where the blade meets the handle provides additional weld strength.
